Abstract

Abstract
Pandemic gave a challenge for midwives to provide maternal and child health services, but their safety is still in danger, so one of the efforts that can be made by midwives to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 during delivery assistance is by applying the use and removal of protective equipment properly. The implementation method includes preparation starting with outreach and advocacy to the Chairperson of the PC IBI Tasikmalaya City and midwives in the Tasikmalaya city area. Planning, namely preparing scenarios, preparing tools, and materials for the manufacture of level II PPE. Implementation, namely measuring the knowledge of midwives about how to use and release before and after watching the video. Evaluation to measure midwives' skills regarding use and re-release according to their understanding. The results of this community service showed that there was an increase in the average value of midwives's knowledge about how to use and remove PPE level II by 2.54, and after community service there were 9 midwives who had skills on how to use PPE level II properly, and 10 midwives who have the skills on how to properly remove PPE level II.
