<span style="font-size: 10pt; color: #231f20; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal;"><em>The low quality and the quality of education in Indonesia is not a secret anymore.</em><span style="font-size: 10pt; color: #231f20; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal;"><em> Even among ASEAN countries alone, the quality of education in Indonesia arriving under</em><span style="font-size: 10pt; color: #231f20; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal;"><em> Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and even Filiphine. Issue low quality of education in Indonesia</em><span style="font-size: 10pt; color: #231f20; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal;"><em> has often been a hot topic in various scientific forums, discussion will be the condition of</em><span style="font-size: 10pt; color: #231f20; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal;"><em> education in Indonesia. Many efforts have been taken by the government with the enactment</em><span style="font-size: 10pt; color: #231f20; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal;"><em> of Law No. 20 of 2003 on the National Education System, but it has not been able to resolve</em><span style="font-size: 10pt; color: #231f20; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal;"><em> the problem of the quality of education in Indonesia. Dignity of a nation is determined by the quality of education. Rendahnya kualitas dan mutu pendidikan di Indonesia sudah bukan rahasia umum lagi. Bahkan di antara Negara-negara ASEAN saja, mutu pendidikan di Indonesia berda di bawah Singapura, Thailand, Filiphine bahkan Vietnam. Berbagai upaya terus dilakukan pemerintah dengan diterbitkannya Undang-Undang No 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional, namun hal tersebut belum mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan tentang mutu pendidikan di Indonesia. Pemerintah dalam hal ini melalui kementerian pendidikan nasional telah berupaya mencari jalan keluar melalui Di sisi lain, tantangan untuk meningkatkan mutu sumber daya manusia dalam menghadapi persaingan bebas abad ke-21 telah diupayakan dengan diterbitkannya Undang-Undang No 14 Tahun 2005 tentang Guru dan Dosen, serta pentingnya tenaga guru dan dosen sebagai ujung tombak dari reformasi pendidikan nasional. Jika dikaitkan dengan eksistensi kualitas dan mutu sumber daya manusia (SDM) Hindu, maka apa yang tersurat dalam UU No 20 Tahun 2003 juga belum bisa tercapai secara maksimal, terlebih lagi dengan filosofis orang Hindu (Bali) yaitu Eda Ngaden Awak Bisa Depang Aanake Ngadanin yang selama ini disandangnya. Jika hal ini memang benar terjadi, maka diasumsikan faktor penyebabnya adalah belum dibangkitkannya tiga potensi dasar alamiah (sabda, bayu, idep) yang dimiliki orang Hindu
