Abstract

The teacher is one of the determinants of educational success. as a crucial part of success, teachers must be able to provide learning that can attract the attention of students such as by the use of instructional media. This research is a class act that lasts in two cycles, each cycle consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.The research method used is the descriptive comparative method, which compares the results of the cycle with performance indicators and data obtained through observation and interviews. based on the results of this study concluded that the discussion-based supervision can increase 5th-grade teacher competence in the use of instructional media in the target area Kranggan districts. as evidenced by an increase creativity teachers from pre-cycle condition increased by 33,3% in the first cycle of 60% and increased in the second cycle to 86,7%. based on these results, the hypothesis was proved right action
