Abstract

Students' skill of X IIS 4 SMA Negeri 3 Demak in producting written negotiation text, have not reached the minimum target standard 2,67. This research is aimed to improve producting skill of written negotiation text and change students' attitude to be better by using model technique and video media. The technique of collecting data uses test and non-test technique. The result of this research shows that learning process of producting written negotiation text by using model technique and video media in the cycle I to cycle II is improved amount 30,56%. Moreover, students' religion and social attitude during the learning process have increased to a better way, with evidence of average religion attitude value in the cycle I, from amount 80,56% become 97%,, it is increased amountn 16,44%. And average social attitude in the cycle I, from amount 68,752% become 93,75%, it is increased amount 25%. The result of research in skill aspect have increased amount 67,56% from pre-cycle 36,11% to cycle 1 69,44% and cycle II 100%. Students' responses to the learning in cycle I show that students still find difficulties to decide topic, text structure, expand text structure to negotiation text, and knowledge process of writing and read sign. Students' responses to the learning in cycle II have changed, that is the difficulties in cycle I are not happened again in the learning of cycle II.
