Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of the integrated thematic learning process with the Numbered Head Together type of cooperative model in the fifth grade of SD Negeri 26 Air Tawar Timur. This research by combining a qulititative and quantitative approach. The subjects in this study were teachers and fifth grade students where there were 22 fifth grade students at SD Negeri 26 Air Tawar Timur where there were 10 male students and 10 female students. From the results of the study showed that the first cycle of the Learning Implementation Plan obtained an average value of 83.33%, increased in the second cycle to 94.44%. The average value of teacher activity in the first cycle was 82.81%, an increase of 93.75% in the second cycle. While the average value of student activity in the first cycle was 82.81%, an increase of 93.75% in the second cycle. Thus the Numbered Head Together type cooperative model can improve the integrated thematic learning process.
