Abstract

The low learning outcomes of Indonesian lessons narrative text writing material fourth grade students UPT SD Negeri Kaweron 02 caused by learning that uses conventional learning models so that the involvement of students in learning is low. This research needs to be done with the aim to improve the learning outcomes of students both from the aspect of knowledge, skills, and attitudes through the application of problem based learning (PBL) model. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students totaling 14 students, consisting of 6 female students and 8 male students. This type of research is a class action research conducted in two cycles. Each class action research cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection of this research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The collection of data through observation and interviews.The results showed an increase from cycle I to Cycle II. The percentage of completeness of knowledge aspects of cycle I is 57%, Cycle II is 86%. The skill aspect of cycle I is 42%, Cycle II is 92%. Attitude aspect of cycle I 64%, Cycle II to 85%.
