Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method in improving the quality of Indonesian language learning outcomes in class III MI Darul Falah Ngembalrejo Kudus. Classroom Action Research (PTK) uses the Kemmis and McTaggart model which consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were all students of class III MI Darul Falah with a total of 28 students. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The results showed an increase in the average score of the test results and an increase in the number of students who achieved KKM in each cycle. The average score in cycle I was 68.1 with 42.8% completeness and the average score in cycle II was 80.89 with 82.1% completeness. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of the CIRC method can improve the quality of student learning outcomes at MI Darul Falah Ngembalrejo Kudus.
