Abstract

The researcher conducted a study to analyze the effect of the comic media-based cooperative learning model on science learning outcomes in grade IV elementary schools.This study uses experimental research with research techniques through tests, observation, and documentation. The study population was 41 Public Elementary Schools and 2 Private Elementary Schools in the Wonosalam District, Demak Regency with data from 355 teachers and 6,867 students with a sample of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Mrisen 1 and SD Negeri Trengguli 3.The results of the study used a comic media-based cooperative learning model. The results of the paired samples test obtained t count of -8.317 and t table of -2.0638 or -t count <-t table with the value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. This proves that the hypothesis is accepted, namely the cooperative learning model based on comic learning media has an effect on science learning outcomes in grade IV elementary schools.Based on the research, teachers are advised to use cooperative learning models and comic-based media so that the learning outcomes of elementary school science learning increase.
