Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in science learning. In this study, researchers took the material of the human skeleton by using a problem based learning model in their learning. Processing and collecting data based on test results, instrument sheets and interview results. From the results of classroom action research carried out, the percentage of activities and student learning outcomes using the problem based learning model has increased in each cycle. an increase in student learning outcomes in the first cycle by 57%, and in the second cycle by 89%. The average value in learning outcomes also increased in each cycle in the first cycle the average value was 68 (enough), in the second cycle the average value was 78 (good). Thus, it can be concluded that learning with a problem based learning model in science learning d can improve student learning outcomes
