Abstract

This article explains how the Thematic KKN program is a form of activity that provides learning experiences for students to live in the midst of society outside the campus. I, the Thematic KKN team located at Kartika XIII-I Ambon Elementary School, Nusaniwe District, Ambon City, Maluku Province, focused my Thematic Community Service Program (KKN) activities on the importance of learning using Literacy Tree Media to Students / I class II SD kartika learning to use Literacy trees for students can also improve children's literacy skills and memory for SD Kartika XIII-I Ambon students. By studying the history of the first President to the present, it is hoped that students can grow into a generation that is ready to compete with developments in the current global era. Using a qualitative approach with the type of case study research, the results of research and interviews as well as observations made for about one week, shows that the role of Thematic KKN students at Kartika XIII-I Ambon Elementary School in learning the use of Literacy Tree Media to Class II SD students and also increase the awareness of teachers so they can learn to use creative media instead of just using lecture methods and taking notes on books until they run out
