Abstract

COVID 19 is becoming a health problem today. Several efforts have been made by the government to prevent the spread of COVID-19, one of which is by vaccinating. The public response to be active in preventing the spread of COVID19 through vaccination has not been optimal. This activity was carried out with the aim of increasing public knowledge and awareness about the COVID-19 vaccine. The activity was attended by 14 people aged 18-60 years was carried out through exposure methods, questions, and answers, and the presence of pretests and posttests to assess community understanding. Based on the results of the evaluation of activities, it is known that all participants experienced increased knowledge about COVID-19 vaccination. The result of the evaluation of public awareness about the COVID-19 vaccine is that 57% of the public is willing to vaccinate. Given the large benefits of this activity, it is expected that the activities that have been carried out can be sustainable or continued by the public and related parties, so it can increase vaccination coverage to prevent the spread of COVID19 infection
