Abstract

This study aims to develop a powtoon-based Javanese language learning media and to find out the result of the validation of the powtoon-based javanese language learning media products. This type of research is research (R&D) which adapts from Sugiyono’s theory. Product validation was carried out by the media expert, material expert, Javanese language teachers, and the students. The data collection technique used a questionnaire and the analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The result showed that the interactive multimedia product powtoon was included in the very appropriate category. Likewise, media expert, material expert as well as Javanese language teachers assessed that the quality of interactive multimedia learning powtoon was very appropriate. The students strongly agree with the development of interactive multimedia powtoon. The results after a limited trial on students showed that interactive multimedia powtoon was very effective. Based on these results, the interactive multimedia product powtoon is effective very suitable and used in learning Javanese dialogue.
