Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media in the form of Pop-Up Books for water cycle material in class V that are valid, practical, and effective on student learning outcomes. This study applies research and development using the ADDIE model with five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 04 Puding Besar with the research subject being 22 fifth grade elementary school students. The data was collected by using a validation questionnaire of media experts, linguists, material experts, student response questionnaires, and data on student test results. The validation results from the three validators obtained an average score of 92% with a very valid category. The results of the practicality of the student response questionnaire sheets obtained an average score of 97.18% with a very practical category, the effectiveness results were obtained from the results of the test questions distributed to 22 students, there were 20 students completed and 2 students had not yet completed achieving the KKM 70 score for learning science. The average value of students' completeness is 82.04% with a very effective category. From the results of these data, it can be concluded that the development of pop-up book media on the water cycle material in class V SD Negeri 04 Puding Besar is a valid, practical, and effective learning media for student learning outcomes.
