Abstract

This research is research and development (R&D) with limited trials with the aim of developing mathematics learning media on tangents to circles. The research subjects were students in class VIII.5 of SMP Negeri 8 Palopo with a total of 31 students. The procedure for developing mathematics learning media used in this research is the ADDIE development model which includes 5 stages, namely the analysis stage, design stage, development stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. However, distribution in this research cannot be carried out because this research is only a limited trial. Mathematics learning media using Geogebra has been developed, validated, tested and revised to produce media that is suitable for use. The learning media developed in this research is declared valid, based on the feasibility percentage score by media experts, namely 3.5, which is in the very valid category. Observation sheet on learning implementation, teacher and student responses to the media being developed responded positively, this can be seen from the observation sheet on learning implementation, the percentage is 84.17% in the very practical category, the percentage of student responses, namely 83.73%, is in the very practical category , and the teacher percentage of 84.00% is in the very practical category. The mathematics learning media developed has met the effective criteria based on the percentage of classical learning completeness of 81.51%, which is in the very valid category.
