Abstract
The existence of the covid-19 pandemic period which can affect the development of early childhood, of course, can affect the intelligence or ability of a child to be creative in various activities. The most basic thing for children's development is their physical development, increasing the physical development of a child it will be very supportive for him to improve and develop his physical skills and explore his environment without waiting for help from others. early childhood. To obtain data in this study, the authors used qualitative research methods from the data generated through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were children of group B PAUD Asyiyah Bustanul Athfal Sidomulyo. The object of this research is the physical motor development of children. The process of developing a child's physical motor is very much influenced by the environment where the child lives, both the family environment, the community, and the environment of the PAUD institution itself. PAUD is one of the institutions where children are guided so that it is expected to provide a good role in increasing physical motor development for early childhood. Physical motor development of early childhood during the COVID-19 pandemic is very low, this is due to several factors, including children who have not seen friends for a long time so activities that can help children's physical motor development run as they should. Researchers took steps to conduct research with qualitative methods, while the results obtained were 81.78% with very well developed criteria.
