Abstract

The mathematics learning media usually use are textbooks. However, not all students understand the material and feel bored with just using textbooks. This results in low student mathematics learning results. One example of other learning media is the Game Board. Mathchess Tic is a board game for learning addition in grade 1 elementary school. This research purpose to examine the influence of the Mathchess Tic board game on elementary school students' mathematics learning results. This research uses a quasi-experimental research method, with a one group pre test-post test design. The sample for this research was 29 grade 1 students at MI Assalafiyah Jakarta. The research results were tested using the T test (T test) with a significance level of 0.05. The calculated t value is 3.26 and this value is greater than the t table. This results in H0 being rejected and H1 being accepted. Thus, the results of this research are the influence of the Mathchess Tic board game on elementary school students' mathematics learning results
