Abstract

The research and development aims to producemathematics teaching materials based on discovery learning accompanied by Islamic Values ​​in the Material of Relations and Functions at SMP Negeri 3 Batanghari which is valid and practically used. This type of research and development usung ADDIE development models consisting of Analyze, Desain, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subject of this research is Class VIII. 1 SMP N 1 Batanghari with 10 students. In this research and development, the resultingproduct must be validated fist, then a trial run. The validation process is carried out to determine the validity of the teaching materials development. The results of the validatot’s assessment are 2 material experts, 2 sesign experts, and 1 Islamic values experts who each get an average percentage of 83% with a very valid category, 81% with a very valid category, and 80 with a valid category. While the results of the trial use abtained on overall percentage of 81.6% with the very practical category. Based on the predetermined categories, the mathematics teaching materials based on discovery learning accompanied by Islamic Values developed are valid and practical.
