Abstract
Rice is one commodity that have an important value for Indonesian people food. But the production of rice plant decreased by attacking of insect and bacterial. The bacterialleaf blight caused by Xanthomonas oryzaepv.oryzae. To avoid the bacterial leaf blight could used Trichoderma sp. suspension to induced resistant in rice plant. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Disease and Greenhouse of Lampung University. This study was conducted from June 2016 to August 2016.The experiment was conducted in a complete randomized design arranged with two factors, namely varieties of rice and kind isolate of Trichoderma sp.. The results of this study showed that the application of Trichoderma sp. reducing the severity of bacterial leaf blight diseaseand the kind isolate of Trichoderma sp. can increase the length rootand height of rice plant.

Summary
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Penyakit Tumbuhan dan rumah kaca Universitas Lampung. Bahan-bahan yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini antara lain media nutrient agar, media potato sukrosa agar ,benih padi gogo varietas Situbagendit dan benihpadi gogo variteas Situpatenggang , isolat Xanthomonas orzyae pv. Percobaan dilaksanakan dalam rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang disusun secara faktorial dengan dua faktor yaitu faktor varietas benih padi dan faktor spesiesTrichoderma sp. Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini adalah perendaman benih padi dalam air steril sebagai kontrol, perendaman benih padi menggunakan suspensi 3 spesies Trichoderma sp. Yaitu mengisolasi dari media beras dengan menggunakan jarum ose.Kemudian biakan tersebut di letakkan di cawan petri yang berisi media PSA (Potato sukrose agar). Pengamatan kerapatan spora dilakukan dengan cara memanen spora dari biakan murni Trichoderma sp. Panen spora dilakukan dengan menambahkan 10 ml air steril pada cawan petri yang berisi biakan murni jamur Trichoderma sp. Dilakukan perendaman benih padi dengan suspensi tiga spesies Trichoderma sp.
