Abstract

ABSTRAK
 The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of transformational leadership on readiness for change which was intervened by organizational trust among the employee in the Class II Navigation District Office of Type A Teluk Bayur, Padang, Indonesia. The method used is quantitative techniques by distributing surveys to employees of the Navigation District Office Type A Class II Teluk Bayur. The final sample of research is 52 respondents. The primary data is applied using questioner. The variable is measured by five Likert scales starting from very much disagree (1) to very much agree (5). Data is analysed using the structural equation model (SEM)PLS. in this case, we use the smart pls 3. The finding show that organizational trust mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and readiness for change. In addition, this study also documented two significant direct relationships: (i) the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational trust, and (ii) the relationship between organizational trust and readiness for change. This study has a theoretical and practical implications, and they are discussed detail in paper.
