Abstract

This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Aquaculture and Hatchery Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Malikussaleh University. The purpose of this study was to determine the color change, growth and viability of barbir fish (Puntius conchonius). The research design used in this study was a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications, namely A: control (without pumpkin flour), B: (ornamental fish feed), C: 30% pumpkin flour. , D: 40% pumpkin flour, and E: 50% pumpkin flour. The results showed that pumpkin flour had an effect (P> 0.05) on color change, growth and survival of barbecue fish (Puntius conchonius). The best treatment was found in treatment E by giving 50% pumpkin flour.
