Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the savings and loan program for women 's groups on the economic improvement of women 's micro and small enterprises. This research is quantitative research. The type of data is primary data, the object of this research is the women's savings and loan group (SPP) with 61 respondents. The data collection technique used a questionnaire, while the data analysis method used validity and reliability tests, classical assumptions, simple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination and t test. The results showed that the savings and loan variables for the women's group had a positive effect on the economic improvement of women's micro and small businesses with t value is 2.240 and p value is 0.029 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted. The results of calculations can be seen that the coefficient of determination is 0.078. This means that 7.8% of the economic improvement of women's micro and small businesses can be explained by the savings and loan variables of the women's group, while the remaining 92.2% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
