Abstract

<p>Abstrack<br />This research aims to determine: (1) the effect of perception about teaching profession as the interest of being a teacher in Office Administration Education of FKIP UNS students; (2) the effect of peers as the interest of being a teacher in Office Administration Education of FKIP UNS students; (3) the effect of perceptions related to teaching profession and peers as the interest of being a teacher in Office Administration Education of FKIP UNS students. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The populations of this research are college students of Office Administration Education FKIP UNS class of 2016-2018 with proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The results of this research are: (1) there is a negative and significant effect of perception about teaching profession as the interest of being a teacher in Office Administration Education of FKIP UNS students tcount 3.661 (α=0,05); (2) there is a positive and significant effect of peers as the interest of being a teacher in Office Administration Education of FKIP UNS students tcount 6.644 (α=0,05); (3) there is a significant effect of perception about teaching profession and peers as the interest of being a teacher in Office Administration Education of FKIP UNS students Fcount 23.668 (α=0,05).</p>
