Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of the mediating role of job satisfaction on the development of human resources, compensation and employee performance. This study used a saturated sample using all ASNs in Bagian Pengadaan Barang Dan Jasa Kabupaten Probolinggo as respondents, totaling 35 employees. Data collection uses a direct survey method with a questionnaire instrument. For further analysis using methods and techniques of analysis Partial Least Square (PLS) - Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results of the study show that (1) there is a significant influence between human resource development on job satisfaction, (2) there is a significant influence between human resource development on performance, (3) there is a significant influence between compensation on job satisfaction, (4) there is no significant effect between compensation on employee performance, (5) there is no significant effect between job satisfaction on performance, (6) there is no significant effect between human resource development through job satisfaction on performance and (7) there is no significant effect between compensation through job satisfaction on performance.
