Abstract

In essence, concept mastery involves the growth and thinking skills of students by mastering something they have learned and then applying it in a creative work in order to reinterpret that experience. Therefore, this research aims to determine changes in elementary school students' mastery of concepts in science learning using quantitative experimental methods (quasi-experimental one group pre test-post test design). The results of this study show that the influence of the RADEC learning model on the human circulatory system material produces an average score on the initial test of 46 and the final test of 82 out of 100. So it can be concluded that the RADEC learning model has a positive effect and can be accepted by students to expand students' abilities compared to with the lecture method.
