Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant effect on the results of learning to write class V students on learning Indonesian through the concept of concept learning sentence in SD Negeri 10 Ganting Padang. This type of research is experimental research, the theory used as a reference is the theory according to Sugiyono (2009: 72). While the population of research is all students of class V SD Negeri 10 Ganting Padang 2016/2017 lesson year which amounted to 54 students selected as a sample determined by saturated sampling technique according Sugiyono (2015: 124). The data analyzed in this research is the score of the students' learning achievement in the learning of Indonesian cognitive domain collected through objective test. The results showed that, there are significant differences in the results of learning to write students on learning the Indonesian language is the application of conceptual learning model learning with conventional learning. This can be seen from the average acquisition of the experimental class is higher than the average gain of the control class (experiments = 81.11 and control = 68.52) and the hypothesis test results using the -t test, with t count <ttabel (tcal 0,184355 <Ttabel 1.67356). Then H0 accepted H1 is rejected.Key Words: problem solving, constructivist approach, primary school
