Abstract

One of the efforts to overcome unemployment problem, especially in Indonesia, is by implementing autonomous entrepreneurship. The chance to be an entrepreneur is wide open due to the celebration of ASEAN Economic Community at the end of 2015. The aim of the study is to acknowledge the effect of entrepreneurial education in school to entrepreneurial intention. On the other hand, the study also aims at observing the indirect effect from entrepreneurial education in school to students’ intention of twelfth grader of Vocational High School 2 Kediri. This research is expost facto. The analysis technique used is path analysis (Path Analysis). Results of data analysis shows that entrepreneurial education in school positively and effectively affects the entrepreneurial intention. Another result of the study shows that intervening variable (self-efficacy) may reinforce independent variable, which is entrepreneurial education in school to dependent variable; entrepreneurial intention of students in Vocational High School 2 Kediri. Concerning the fact that self-efficacy is essential in reinforcing students’ entrepreneurship, the researcher would like to suggest to Entrepreneurship subject teachers to give motivation to the students in order to make them passionate in trying entrepreneurship business.
