Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the interaction of liquid organic fertilizer and chicken manure on soil chemical fertility and tomato yield on Ultisol soil and to determine which treatment has a better effect on soil chemical fertility and tomato yield on Ultisol soil. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) in a factorial pattern. The first factor, coconut coir liquid organic fertilizer consists of 3 levels, namely K0 = without giving coconut coir liquid organic fertilizer, K1 = 100 ml polybag-1, K2 = 200 ml polybag-1. The second factor, chicken manure consists of 3 levels, namely K0 = without giving chicken manure, A1 = 200 grams polybag-1, A2 = 400 grams polybag-1. The results showed that the application of liquid organic fertilizer and chicken manure had an effect on Ultisol soil fertility, namely pH treatment obtained K0A2 (6.83), organic-C K2A2 (0.74%), CEC K2A2 (14.59 me 100g-1), available-P K2A2 (30.84 ppm), available-K K2A1 (0.57 me 100g-1). The application of liquid organic fertilizer and chicken manure had an interaction effect on tomato yield, namely the effect on the variables of plant height, fruit number and fruit weight but did not have an interaction effect on the number of branches. K2A2 treatment with a dose of 200 ml polybag-1 liquid organic fertilizer and a dose of 400 grams polybag-1 chicken manure was better than other treatments.
