Abstract

The purpose of this research is to broaden the understanding of the structure of agent self-efficacy as a function of environment, ability and desire. By increasing work efficiency, it is possible to achieve high insurance agent performance, while low work motivation causes poor insurance agent performance. Agent motivation is an important issue in agents so that agents can achieve company goals and market insurance products. This case study uses a qualitative method. This study gathers information by searching previous reference works, documentation and descriptions. The results of the research show that work motivation and job satisfaction as well as work motivation and level of performance are factors that affect the performance of insurance agents
