Abstract

Learning media is one of the supporting factors for successful learning whose implementation is still lacking in various elementary schools in Indonesia. The lack of learning media at SDN Wonomlati in supporting the improvement of reading aloud, this is a factor in this study. This study aims to determine the effect of Pop-Up Book learning media on the reading skills of grade II students at SDN Wonomlati. This research used pre-experimental method with One Group Pretest-Posttest research design. This study involved 20 grade II students who were positioned as research subjects. The results of this study inform that there is an effect of Pop-Up Book learning media on the reading skills of grade II students of SDN Wonomlati. The existence of the influence of this learning media, the application of learning media must be further optimised to support learning activities, especially in improving the reading aloud of elementary school students at SDN Wonomlati.
