Abstract

This study aim to determine effect of the financial literacy and lifestyle on consumtive behaviour in youth. The population of this study are the member of YISC Al Azhar, an organization for youth in Jakarta. The sampling technique used Slovin’s method with 5% margin of error which resulting 128 samples. The research method used in this study is quantitative with multiple linear regression analysis. The study results showed that the financial literacy and lifestyle had a significant effect on consumtive behaviour in youth. Which financial literacy partially had a negative and significant effect on consumtive behaviour, while lifestyle had a significant and positive effect on consumtive behaviour in youth.
