Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of communication, motivation, and work environment on employee performance at a four-star hotel in the city of East Surabaya. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling, with a total sample of 120 respondents who are employees at a four-star hotel in the city of East Surabaya. Data collection was carried out through an online questionnaire using the Google Form. The collected data were analyzed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 23 program. The results of this study indicate that communication has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. In addition, motivation also has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. The work environment was also found to have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Furthermore, the research results show that communication, motivation, and the work environment together have a positive and significant impact on employee performance.
