Abstract

This research is aimed at testing a model, direct and indirect influences amongs the important factors: School headmaster, school facilities, local school atmosphere, and the effectiveness of teachers’ teaching-learning activities towards the student academic performance. To analyze the data, this research used Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The population of this research was the students of Public Senior High Schools in Central Kalimantan, and 188 students were taken as the sample. The research finding shows that the school headmaster competency is possitively influential and significant to the school facilities, conducive school atmosphere, and the effectiveness of teaching positively affects the academic performance of the graduate students
