Abstract

This research is aimed at determining both partially or simultaneously effect of directly paid compensation, indirectly paid compensation, physical environment and non-physical environment on the motivation of employees in Rector Office Mataram University, and at determining which variable is dominantly affect the motivation of these employees. The respondents are 60 employees which is the number of population of this research. The data were collected through questionnaire which is designed with the scale of Likert. Those data then were analysed with multiple linear regression in SPSS program. The research showed that all variables of directly-paid compensation, indirectly paid compensation, physical environment and non-physical environment affect the motivation of employees in Rector Office Mataram University. The SPSS calculation also showed that directlypaid compensation variable is the most dominant of all independent variables to affect the motivation of these employees.
