Abstract

This study aims to investigate mediating effect of knowledge-sharing practices on the influence of transformational leadership toward product innovation and process innovation. This research was conducted quantitatively by involving 100 research respondents who are employees working at Glints Company. Glints Company is an information technology company that focuses on developing a job seeker platform and is an online career consulting facilities. The sampling method was carried out by census. The analysis method of this study uses t-test, F-test, linear regression analysis and Sobel technique to identify the mediating effect. Results of this research show that transformational leadership has a positive and significant influence on knowledge sharing, product innovation, and process innovation. Knowledge sharing is able to mediate positive and significant influence of transformational leadership toward product innovation and process innovation. This research contributes to enriching the knowledge-sharing concept literature and provides managers with an understanding to encourage knowledge-sharing practice activities among employees to allow creation of more intense product and process innovations in the company. Further findings and discussion are presented in the discussion section of this article.
