Abstract

According to several researchers, the ownership of health insurance and the economic status of the population affect the utilization of health services in an area. for this reason, this study aims to determine the effect of these two variables on the utilization of health services in pulau morotai regency in 2021. this research design is a cross-sectional study using secondary data from bps. all households were designated as the target population and 419 people were assigned as samples with inclusion and exclusion criteria. the results of the binary logistics regression modeling show that bpjs health ownership is significant at an error rate of 0.05. meanwhile, the economic status of the population was not included in the analysis because it had no relationship with the utilization of health services. the conclusion is that bpjs health ownership variable has a significant effect on the utilization of health services in morotai island regency.
