Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of job characteristics on the performance, test the effect of motivation as a moderating variable job characteristics on the performance and test the effect of the work environment as moderating variable job characteristics on employee performance of PT Sarana Division. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 8 Surabaya. The sample used in this study is a random sample of 207 people. The results of the analysis Partial Least Square (PLS) this study shows that the job characteristics significant positive effect on employee performance, motivation positive effect was not significant to moderate the influence of job characteristics on the performance of employees, work environment positive effect was not significant to moderate the influence of job characteristics on the performance employee Divisi Sarana PT. Kuisioner yang disebar kepada responden yang berjumlah 207 pegawai di Divisi Sarana PT. Pengaruh Karakteristik Pekerjaan ...(Rizal Eka Affandy) pengambilan data dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara langsung kepada responden. Hasil Penelitian dan Pembahasan Hasil olah data dengan menggunakan alat bantu software SmartPLS, diperoleh hasil output dari model struktur konstruk loading factor yang akan menjelaskan antara konstruk hubungan sistem informasi manajemen perancangan jabatan, rencana tenaga kerja dan kinerja karyawan yang tampak pada gambar berikut ini. Perhitungan yang dapat digunakan untuk menguji reliabilitas konstruk adalah diskriminan reliability (AVE), cronbach alpha dan composite reliability. Kriteria pengujian menyatakan bahwa apabila diskriminan reliability (AVE) bernilai lebih besar dari 0.5, cronbach alpha bernilai lebih besar dari 0.6 dan composite reliability bernilai lebih besar dari 0.7 maka konstruk tersebut dinyatakan reliabel. Hasil perhitungan diskriminan reliability (AVE), cronbach alpha dan composite reliability dapat dilihat melalui ringkasan yang disajikan dalam tabel 2.
