PENGARUH INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL TERHADAP KINERJA KEUANGAN PERUSAHAAN SUBSEKTOR PULP AND PAPER YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Intellectual Capital on the Financial Performance of Pulp and Paper Subsector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The method used to measure Intellectual Capital as an independent variable is Value Added Intellectual Coefficient (VAIC TM ). The ratio used to measure Financial Performance is the Nett Profit Margin, Return on Investment (ROI), and Return on Equity (ROE). The method used to observe the effect of intellectual capital on financial performance is by using simple linear regression. The data used in this study are secondary, namely financial statements and annual reports. The data is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for 7 years from the period 2011 to 2017. Samples were taken by purposive sampling, 7 companies were used. Data analysis used simple linear regression analysis and t-test. Data analysis uses several linear regression analyses with SPSS 16. The results of the analysis show that the intellectual capital variable has a significant effect on the financial performance of the pulp and paper sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX)
