Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how much positive influence leadership style and work motivation have on employee performance at the City Administration Office of Population and Civil Registration - South Jakarta, either partially or simultaneously. The research method uses quantitative research methods. The sample used in this study is a saturated sample, namely the entire population of 91 people. Data analysis used validity test, reliability test, classic assumption tests, simple and multiple linear regression analyses, correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of the hypothesis test obtained a t value of 9.647 > t table 2.061, or thus Ha1 is rejected and Ho1 is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence of leadership style on employee performance. Hypothesis testing obtained a t value of 9.847 > t table 2.061, or thus Ho2 is rejected and Ha2 is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence of work motivation on employee performance. Hypothesis testing obtained an F count of 65.393 > F table 3.10, or thus Ho3 was rejected and Ha3 was accepted, meaning that it can be concluded that the variables of leadership style and work motivation have a significant effect on employee performance.
