Abstract

Climatic factors are factors that cannot be manipulated and greatly affect the growth and productivity of sugarcane. Rainfall is an important climatic element in sugarcane cultivation. This study aims to determine the effect of rainfall on sugarcane productivity and to see the correlation between rainfall and sugarcane productivity on sugarcane yield in PTPN XII Kendeng Lembu. This research was carried out from August 2021 to December 2021. The data needed for analysis includes Plant Cane (PC), Replanting Cane (RC) 1 and RC 2 sugarcane production data, rainfall data from 2015 to 2020. The statistical analysis method used is correlation analysis and simple linear regression with rainfall as the independent variable and productivity as the dependent variable. The results of statistical analysis showed that the PC and RC 2 sugarcane productivity had a positive correlation with a strong and very low level of each correlation. For sugarcane RC 1 has a negative correlation with a low level of correlation. The results of simple linear regression analysis showed that the rainfall variable had no significant effect on alpha 5% (Sig > 0.05) on sugarcane productivity in Kendeng Lembu.
