Abstract

Organizational commitment is an important aspect that must be considered by organizations. Because, employees with good organizational commitment will work hard to help the organization achieve goals. Today's world of work is dominated by generations X and Y, each of these generations has unique characteristics that are likely to affect organizational commitment, such as employee burnout resulting from high work demands. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of burnout on organizational commitment in generation X and Y employees. This study used a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression test analysis used to determine how much influence the burnout variable had on organizational commitment
