Abstract

Instructional coachs demonstrate an impact on teachers' teaching practices through the support they offer to teachers through collaboration to promote reflective practice. This study aims to analyze and explains how SISC+ TVET collaborates with RBT teachers to promote teacher reflection with the help of qualitative analysis software ATLAS.ti 9. This phenomenological qualitative study uses a semi-structured interview method with three School Improvement Specialist Coach (SISC+) Vocational Technical Education and Training (TVET) in the Batu Pahat district, Johor to describe their direct experiences working together to promote reflection on the teaching of Design and Technology teachers (RBT). Findings from this study have proven that SISC+ TVET is a medium to facilitate guidance consultation that promotes the reflective practice of teaching RBT teachers.
