Abstract

Penetration of commercial and dental waxes was studied. Measurements indicated that resistance of paraffin and dental inlay waxes to penetration was closely related to the temperature at which solid-solid transformations occurred. Annealed waxes were more resistant to penetration than unannealed waxes.
