Abstract

Hallucinations are a symptom that often appears in people with mental disorders and are closely related to early psychosis due to trauma in childhood. Hallucinations usually appear in patients with mental disorders due to a change in the orientation of reality, the patient feels a stimulus that is not actually there, one of which is the auditory sensory. Patients with auditory hallucinations usually hear clear or unclear voices where these voices usually invite clients to talk or do something but are not related to real things that other people don't hear. One of the actions that can be carried out in patients with hallucinations is by administering Generalist Therapy Sp 1- Sp 4 The risk of violent behavior. Objective: to determine generalist nursing care standards for schizophrenic patients in reducing hallucination symptoms. This research method uses a case study approach with data collection techniques carried out by direct observation and interviews with patients. The research method used is a case study using psychiatric nursing care for Mr.I sensory perception disorders: auditory hallucinations at the regional mental hospital Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ildrem. Obtained data on clients who experience sensory perception disorders: auditory hallucinations. The client's medical diagnosis is paranoid schizophrenia. With a nursing diagnosis of auditory hallucinations, low self-esteem and self-care deficit. The results of the case study after nursing care was carried out by applying the implementation strategy of 15 meeting sessions showed a decrease in signs and symptoms of auditory hallucinations, low self-esteem, and self-care deficits. The results of the analysis show that nursing interventions by implementing implementation strategies (SP) can reduce signs and symptoms of hallucinations, low self-esteem, and self-care deficits in patients after being given nursing actions.Keywords: Hallucinations, low self-esteem, self-care deficit
