Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the application of communication skills training in the implementation of family psychoeducation that treats clients with hypertension. The research method used in this study is a case report which describes and analyzes in depth the benefits of applying family communication methods in caring for clients with hypertension. The results showed that there were changes in healthy lifestyles and an increase in the quality of care for clients with hypertension after implementing communication skill training in the implementation of family psychoeducation. In conclusion, the application of communication skill training in the implementation of family psychoeducation that treats clients with hypertension can improve healthy lifestyles and the quality of health care services for clients with hypertension.
