Abstract

Children are a trust and gift from Almighty God, in whom the honor and dignity of being a complete human being is inherent. Children also have human rights that are recognized by the people of the world. The complete and harmonious development of a child's personality requires a happy family environment, full of love and understanding. Braja Selebah District, East Lampung Regency is one of the areas in East Lampung Regency with data on fairly high levels of juvenile delinquency. Braja Selebah District consists of 7 villages which are known as santri cities and student cities, apart from having positive aspects, they also have the potential for juvenile delinquency, so preventive and repressive efforts need to be made to overcome this problem. In Braja Selebah District there are 4 (Four) MTs, 3 (Three) MA. The research approach used in this community service is participation-based research known as Participatory action research (PAR). Mentoring is carried out by approaching children through educational institutions by providing counseling, mentoring, counseling and advocacy at MTs and MA throughout Braja Selebah District as a preventive measure. Then, assistance and advocacy is provided for Juvenile Delinquency in these schools. It is hoped that this service activity can provide protection and reduce the number of juvenile delinquencies that occur in Braja Selebah District, East Lampung Regency.
