Abstract

Indonesia has high tourism potential, one of which is tourism in the MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition) industry. MICE itself is convention tourism, with limitations such as convention service businesses. This is a business with activities to provide services for a meeting of a group of people. Maitreyawira Convention Center is one of the convention service providers whose users are increasing in the city of Palembang. In the use of conventions, there are many aspects that must be considered, one of which is natural lighting and artificial lighting that are suitable for the use of conventions. That's why the author is interested in analyzing natural and artificial lighting in the Maitreyawira Convention Center building located on Jalan Resident Abdul Rozak, Palembang, South Sumatra. With this study, it is hoped that it can add insight and be able to better understand lighting, both natural and artificial lighting in the Maitreyawira Convention Center building whether it meets existing standards or not.
