Abstract

Islam consists of three basic doctrines. They are aqidah (faith), syariah (law) and tasawuf (soul purification). Mutakallimun (a theologian) is a name for aqidah figure, Fuqaha for a fiqh figure and sufi for a tasawuf figure. Among the many figures, there is a sufi who is admitted his fame’s, Syeikh Abdul Qadir Jailani. In carrying out his message, Al-Jailani more focused on one's faith to always oneness Allah. Since the faith is the benchmark for every individual who claims to be a Moslem. Al-Jailani theological conception is based on the conception of Al-Qur’an and al Hadith. To participate ourselves immerse in the world of Sufism, the people must run His commands, Allah SWT through His Prophet, Muhammad SAW seriously and consistently. Al-Syeikh thinking methodology is consistent with the arguments of the texts, although he uses aqli proposition, but he does not interpret or infer anything that does not have a backrest texts. Generally thought of Al-Sheikh is combination of sufism, fiqh, aqidah and morality. This can be seen from the story and testament behavior-will.
