Abstract

Voting in a democracy is an important part of the means of choosing a leader. The election of the OSIS chairman is generally still carried out conventionally, the election still uses paper to choose the OSIS chairman which is carried out by punching / recording the name or picture of one of the candidates. Making E-Voting in the form of a web application for the election of the OSIS chairman at the high school level or equivalent can speed up the voting process. The web application is built using PHP and MySQL with user management, class management, candidate management and voting results (E-Voting) features. This study aims to build an e-voting system that is expected to provide voting results quickly and can be monitored in real time during voting. This system development method uses the Waterfall model SDLC based on a web application. Testing using the blackbox method, every feature contained in the E-Voting web application, namely the User Login, Admin Login, User Voting, and User Data Processing features function properly.
