Abstract

The development of the Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on people's health, environment and economy. Public understanding of the importance of maintaining current health protocols is widely accessible. The high level of public knowledge is not always accompanied by the implementation of health protocols. The vigilance of the village community in facing the pandemic also has the potential to decrease due to the saturation effect on the community. Socialization and guidance with the community in an effort to deal with the pandemic is carried out by controlling and assisting in the manufacture of natural hand- sanitizers. The socialization carried out in Sukorejo Village, Wonosobo Regency can be categorized as successful. With the high enthusiasm of the community in participating in the program and a good understanding of the making of natural hand-sanitizers, it can be seen from a total of 16 participant respondents (results). Based on the post-test data conducted after the activity, 93.75% of participants were able to answer the questions correctly or 15 of the 16 participants answered correctly and only one participant did not answer correctly. On questions related to the composition of the ingredients used, 86.77% of participants answered correctly or 14 of 16 participants answered correctly. These results indicate that the community has a good understanding of the training materials. Sustainability of the program is carried out through the distribution of products resulting from activities and recipes for making hand-sanitizers through conversation groups so that they can be reproduced by the community.
