Abstract

Maturation of the age of marriage (PUP) through the youth family development program (BKR) which is intended for families with teenage children as a forum and source of information for parents and adolescents to gain knowledge about PUP. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a youth family development group as an effort to increase adolescents' understanding of PUP. This community service activity aims to increase adolescent knowledge through fostering adolescent family development groups as a forum for youth in Sukaraja District Seluma Regency. The community service method is through regional development with activity stages including identification of potential partners, identification of stakeholder involvement, preparation, implementation and evaluation stages as well as follow-up. The results of this activity resulted in an increase in the average score of knowledge and attitudes of adolescents towards the acceptance of the concept of maturation of marriage age in Sukaraja District Seluma Regency. The activity went smoothly with good support and 100% attendance. It is hoped that partners will continue the activities in the form of monitoring and evaluating cadres and parents who already have the ability by involving village midwives.
